St Enodoc Golf Club plays host to the SFG qualifying event on Sunday 6th September 2009 for just £30        

The event seeing players competing for the Goodman Trophy (36 hole medal) will now have the added bonus of an SFG qualifier.

St Enodoc (ranked 38th in the UK) is one of the finest links golf courses in the South West of England with everything you wouldhttp://www.sandylodge.co.uk/pages/opens/Open%20Scratch.pdf expect from a James Braid design; undulating fairways, firm greens, some blind shots and all with the added bonus of some of the greatest sea and estuary views on any course in the world.

With its hilly terrain no two holes are the same; it may not be long by today's standards but it is tight with punishing rough and so requires courage and accuracy to cope with some of the problems posed.

Prizes

Best nett score wins The Goodman Trophy and £200
Best gross score wins £200

This year the player with the best nett score (1st placed SFG) will qualify through to SFG Qualifying School at Celtic Manor on Monday 26th October and have the chance to qualify for Team SFG in the SFG Challenge Cup Final.

There will be Srixon Z-Star balls for places 1st - 5th and there will also be a sleeve of Srixon Z-Star balls for every entrant.

Conditions of Entry

1. Entry fee - £30 (including all sweeps)
   Entry fee for Juniors - £15 (no sweep)
2. Juniors may not enter sweeps
3. Snack Menu available on the day
4. Entries must be submitted on entry forms enclosing payment
5. Buggies are not allowed for this competition
6. Closing date Wednesday, 19th August 2009 after which no money will be refunded
7. Maximum handicap14 (entries may be balloted). Up to date certificates must be produced on the day.
8. The decision of the Committee on all matters during the competition is final
9. Prizes may have to be adjusted if entry falls below 60
