Welcome to the 2010 SFG Order of Merit. Play in 80 nationwide events throughout the UK and qualify to win part of the £5000 prize fund and the chance to play in the grand final at Trevose.

The winners of each Order of Merit automatically make the final team with the remaining Top 21 players progressing to their respective Q-School's with the winners on this day making the team.

FORMAT - ORDER OF MERIT 

• You will need to purchase an SFG Tour Card to earn points. 
• Order of Merit points will be awarded depending on the type of event - for details click here
• Full handicap allowance is provided and all Order of Merits will reflect this.
• The winner of each order of merit automatically qualifies for the team and the final in Trevose on the 18th-20th October
• The top 21 players in the Northern and Southern SFG Order of Merit will progress to their respective Q-Schools 
  • NORTHERN Q-SCHOOL - Hollins Hall, Bradford - Tues 5th October 2010
  • SOUTHERN Q-SCHOOL - The Oxfordshire - Weds 6th October 2010
• The winner of the Northern and Southern Q-School will qualify for TEAM SFG in the Challenge Cup Final
• You can play in as many events as you like, with your respective points going towards the order of merit where the tournament was based
• Points will be awarded to players based on the ranking of the event and can only be awarded to a player who hold a valid SFG Tour Card within two weeks of the event finishing.
• If a player within the Order of Merit has already qualified by winning a major then the 22nd place player will be invited to Q-School.

PRIZES - ORDER OF MERIT

There is a £5000 Prize pool fund. Prizes will consist of Golfing equipment, holidays and free green fees from our partner companies including Srixon, Bunker Mentality, Glenmuir, LoudmouthNewl and Newland Tailoring

• The winning person on the Order of Merit will get first choice as to which prize they want
• This prize picking format continues until all the prizes are taken 

The Prize pool consits of the following per Order of Merit:

• Automatic qualification to the SFG Final @ Trevose (£1500 value) including Newland tailored trousers, Loudmouth and Glenmuir clothing
• 12 dozen Srixon Z-Star golf balls (rrp: £500 value)
• 6 dozen Srixon Z-Star golf balls (rrp: £250)
• Bunker Mentality clothing, Playa shirt, Cap and Belts (rrp: £90)
