The track became the narrow fairway and the fences turned into unusual hazards with targets replacing conventional greens. Golfing racing celebrities and 24 club champions, men and women, from all over the county competed for the Cheltenham Racecourse Challenge Bowl and the chance to progress to SFG Qualifying School at Celtic Manor.
After a booming 1st drive of the roof of the Paddock stand Luke proceeded to beat 2008 SFG finalist and England golfer Adam Carson and the talented England golfer Chris Lloyd.
“I’m delighted to win this event and it was a huge amount of fun” exclaimed a beaming Luke Krupa who now has every chance of making the final SFG team.
“I’m looking forward to seeing Luke at Qualifying school in October, he’s definetly the type of golfer I’m looking for in my SFG team”
