The 2010 SFG Challenge Final will take place at Trevose Golf club on the 18th - 20th October - will you be there?

The SFG Challenge Cup is an exciting and exhilarating tournament between a qualifying team of single figure handicap golfers (Team SFG) and a team of former Ryder, Walker and Solheim Cup players.

A team of 12 amateur players who qualify through the SFG Challenge Tour Order of Merit, Matchplay Tournaments or national Opens will make up TEAM SFG.

Team SFG is captained by Peter McEvoy OBE (5-time successful Walker Cup captain) with players qualifying through a series of events on the SFG Tour.

The 2010 SFG Challenge Cup Final will be staged at Trevose on the 19th and 20th October 2010

The SFG Challenge Cup final is 2-day event and comprises fourballs, foursomes and singles.

Those who qualify to play for Team SFG will win the following prize

• Practice round 
• Two days competitive golf against the Pro-Challenge Team
• Two nights accommodation and food
• Gala dinner with the Pro Challenge Team (Tues 19th)
• SFG Team Glenmuir polo shirts and jumpers
• Personal Tailored trousers by Newland Tailoring  
• Your own personal Caddy and Caddy bib
• Srixon carry bag, glove and balls

The competition which is in its third year follows matches in 2008 at Woodhall Spa and 2009 at Celtic Manor
